It is strange how time flies. Last year I started ‘our life treasure’ as a Father’s Day gift to my husband and daughter. One day in prayer, I thought what an awesome gift it would be to have a place to go to remember our loved ones. A place where we all can find each other and communicate with each other no matter the distance. Maybe even find ourselves. A gift that will continue to give.
Every time I had asked God for a sign the sermon at church would be based on ‘where your treasure is, there your heart will be also’ and so “our life treasure” was born.
To be honest I didn’t understand how much time it really takes but I was hooked and enjoying my new found love. I have been writing for years but I quickly realised that writing a so called diary and writing a post online is two totally different things. I had to juggle my days and nights to finally get a website up and running. I am a self-taught person so my days and nights turned into months. To my surprise I also got an extreme fan of my site, my hacker. The first time our site got hacked I was quite chuffed that someone out there thought my site was worth their time. 5 hacks later I was utterly annoyed. I didn’t know where to start and a lovely angel sent me an email telling me about her story and it gave me the courage to rebuild. Many thanks, Heather from samomblogs. Now when I look back I am thankful knowing what my hacker taught me. He or she helped me design my gorgeous website and understand web security a whole lot better.
We welcomed all our family to join us on our journey and we were blessed with your support and understanding. And for those who still want to know who our family members are, it is anyone who takes the time out from their busy schedules to remember and build a relationship with us.
We love hearing from you all so don’t forget to keep in touch.
We want to say a special thank you with lots of hugs and kisses to all our wonderful “Our life treasure” family members.
Cheers to our first year of togetherness!
Discovering what our treasure is and where our heart calls home.
