Making promises is easy but achieving it is rare
It all starts with just one person to change someone else’s world. Often we search far and wide for a worthy candidate to call our hero but sometimes if we look closer the hero we so desperately searching for is sitting next to us.
I have always looked at life through rose tinted glasses.
If i dreamed it, my husband made certain we achieved it.
Making our dreams come true, comes at a price and that is his job requires him to travel around the world so we are committed to making the long, long distance relationship work for us.
My hubby always thinks of tomorrow. When he knew we had a daughter on the way he transformed into the partner and son in law that he would have to one day accept for Kiara which included him removing his gold teeth 😀
I was not surprised as he has always been a man of great character and strong willpower with a heart of gold.
So coming back to the hero part…
Being the man that he is, he believes in sacrifices. His motto is someone has to do it and it might as well be me.
Let me add by emphasizing that living away from your loved ones is emotionally devastating and draining, almost unbearable even in our technologically advanced society. What most families take for granted like just having supper together, watching a movie or going dancing is a treasure in our home. When we do get the chance to experience all of these things it is truly appreciated.
I want our future generations to understand where we started from and the sacrifices we made to give them a better, more comfortable life.
A life that we only dream off.
My daughter, Kiara and i are super proud to be a part of this adventure with Nivesh, knowing that our legacy will inspire and develop our family for generations to come.
Remembering the man that made it all possible.
A man that puts God first, family second and everything else third.
Our loving, amazing, awesome, definitely one of a kind, dad, husband and friend.
Nivesh Mahadeo you will forever be, our blessing, our hero…our treasure.
Please share what makes your family special.
We would love to hear from you.
